WOW, y’all!! What an amazing conversation with my friend Jay Floyd on this week’s episode of Marriage, Motherhood & PTSD! 🔥
We unpacked so much about authenticity, identity, self-awareness, faith, and overcoming imposter syndrome. One of my favorite takeaways was this: the world may try to put us in boxes, but God designed us to stand out. 🙌🏽
👉🏽 Now I want to hear from YOU:
Where in your life do you feel the biggest struggle with being your authentic self?
Have you ever battled with imposter syndrome or feeling like you don’t belong?
What’s ONE step you can take this week to walk more boldly in your authenticity?
Drop your thoughts in the comments ⬇️ or share your story inside The Locker Room with Coach Leah—our community where women uplift, encourage, and hold each other accountable to live resilient and faith-filled lives. 💜
Remember…
✨ Be Encouraged. Be Empowered. And Be Blessed!
✨ My Recommendation
➡️ Do both—but with different intentions.
Use social media to spark conversation, attract new people, and build visibility.
Use The Locker Room to deepen connection, build trust, and funnel your most engaged followers toward coaching and workshops.
You don’t have to create double the content—you can post the main After Show Post on social media, then in The Locker Room say:
“Hey ladies, I asked this on my socials, but I want to go deeper with you all here. Let’s talk honestly about how imposter syndrome shows up in YOUR life.”
That way, you’re not choosing one over the other—you’re letting social media be the funnel, and The Locker Room be the nurture space.
This week on Marriage, Motherhood & PTSD, we talked about personal growth in marriage and why it starts with you. It’s so easy to think, ‘If only my spouse would change, things would be better.’ But the truth is, growth begins when we take accountability for our own journey.
We dug into what it means to find yourself again outside of your roles, how self-care and self-awareness impact your marriage, and why boundaries and faith are essential for building a healthy relationship.
Now I’d love to hear from you.
What does personal growth look like for you right now?
Have you ever felt like you lost your individuality in marriage or motherhood?
What’s one step you’re taking (or want to take) to invest in yourself again?
Remember: when you grow, your marriage has the opportunity to grow too.

This week on Marriage, Motherhood & PTSD, we talked about crisis management as a wife and mother — what it looks like to prepare ahead of time, how to respond when emergencies happen, and how faith anchors us when everything feels shaky.
Now I want to hear from you in The Locker Room.
Have you ever had to manage a family crisis?
What helped you stay grounded in that moment?
What’s one thing you’ve put in place to prepare your family for unexpected emergencies?
Sometimes the best encouragement comes from hearing each other’s stories. You never know how your testimony might give another woman hope and direction.

Hey Locker Room family! 💬
This week's episode, "Rediscovering Yourself: How to Reclaim Your Identity After Losing It in Life's Roles," was a WORD!!
We talked about what it means to look up and realize that somewhere along the way… you lost yourself.
Between the roles of wife, mama, caregiver, supporter, and everything else—we often put our own dreams and desires on pause. But y’all, God didn’t create us to disappear behind the titles. He created us to live fully, love deeply, and show up as our whole selves.
Now it’s your turn to jump in. Let’s keep the conversation going right here
Let’s talk:
Have you ever felt like you lost yourself in a relationship, role, or season of life?
What’s something you used to love that you’ve let go of?
What’s ONE step you can take this week to reconnect with you?
Coaching Moment Recap:
Your action step this week is to write a letter to your younger self—or the woman you’re becoming. Ask her what she loves, what she dreams of, and what she needs to feel alive again.
This is your season to rise.
To reclaim.
To rediscover the woman God created you to be.
And sis… we’re here cheering you on every step of the way!
Drop your thoughts, breakthroughs, or journal entries below!
Your story just might be the encouragement someone else needs today.
Whew! If today’s episode didn’t stir something in you, go back and listen again!
Nickeia got real about what it was like to lose herself in a marriage, how she redefined what love and marriage should look like, and the powerful journey of starting over with grace, grit, and God.
💬 Now it's your turn — let’s talk about it:
Have you ever looked in the mirror and realized you didn’t recognize yourself in a relationship?
What’s something you’ve had to unlearn about love or marriage?
What helped you rediscover YOU after heartbreak?
What advice would you give to a sister who's afraid to let go?
Drop your thoughts in the comments. You never know who needs to hear your story. You are not alone.
Be Encouraged. Be Empowered. Be Blessed.
